WHAT YARD PREP CAN INCLUDE
Grinding produces wood chips and leaves a low area where the stump stood. The approved finish may include removing excess grindings, adding topsoil, rough grading, and preparing the surface for seed or sod. Cleanup after earlier stump work can be reviewed from photos.
WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE
Cleanup pricing depends on chip volume, the distance to the trailer, topsoil quantity, access, and the requested finish. Adding cleanup to the grinding visit may reduce a separate setup charge.
COMMON QUESTIONS
When should I seed in Western Washington? Grass establishment is usually easier during mild spring or early-fall weather, but temperature, irrigation, seed choice, and maintenance affect the result.
Will the filled spot sink? Some settlement is possible as remaining organic material decomposes. The area may need additional topsoil after it settles.
Can you clean up after another company's grinding? Potentially. Send photos of the old grindings, access, low area, and desired finish so the scope can be reviewed.
